What do I do about sending a package to a canada.postal code?
On ebay i have a cell phone up for auction. I recently got a question asking me if i could send to a canada.postal code. Can I just label the package with the address that they provide? is there any extra cost shipping it to canada? I was figuring on using usps to ship. any support would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

- Have you been prepaid for your cell phone. If not do not send it out, too many scams. but to answer your questions, you can lable the package with the address that has been provided. There is an extra cost to ship to Canada, not very substantial and shipping by UPS is a good idea cause then you have a tracking #....don't forget your postal code.
- I'm sure that there is an international shipping fee. Just take it to the post office, I'm sure that is not much more than you would pay to ship in the states. There postal codes are way different there, so as long as you have the right address it shouldn't be a problem.
- you are shipping internationally shipping to Canada costs almost double the rate in the Us research it before you get stuck paying for the shipping extra costs http://ircalc.usps.gov/default.asp?Mode=Intl_Single&CID=12000
- The USPS ships to Canada - and pretty much anywhere else in the world. You may need to include a letter for the customs officials. A visit to your local post office should help you clear up any questions about what's necessary. Did you try usps.gov website?
- go to the USPS web site at http://ircalc.usps.gov/default.asp Change the destination to canada, and input the weight and pick the package type. This will show you the total postage for varying classes of mail.
- Yes the united states postal service does ship to Canada...Not just the Us alone ...they ship to many other countries. Not all countries have zip codes as in the states. It is passed along to canada post for delivary ...just as if you were shipping to england they would pass it along to Royal Mail...or anywhere else in the world it goes through after to their postal service. It is not the same shipping cost .Usually a dollar or two more ...that's it .Not like if you were shipping overseas where it would be far greater . The person in Canada knows their address and postal code so yes ship with what they have advised you. Ps if you go to usps website you will also see that they give a place to add the size and weightoncluding dimension of your package ...where you alos add the destination ...and it will give you an estimated cost of what you would pay .
