- How many more times do you plan on asking this?
- It will go to the dead letter office.
- It will be delivered and the person/company who it is going to will have to pay the postage costs. If they decline it the letter will go to the "dead letter office" where it will most likely end up in a big bin till it get shredded in a few years.
- It's a myth that it's automatically delivered. The automatic sorter sometimes misses the lack of stamp and sends it out, but it's no longer policy to deliver with postage due.
- it goes into civic category as it is not a politics question.
- Is there some special reason why you don't call the post office and ask? When I am sent a bill, often times it says on the envelope where the stamp is supposed to be "The Post Office will not deliver without a stamp." So my guess is that it will go into the "dead letter" file where it will eventually be destroyed.
