Postal Letter

Can I send a letter with two forever stamps when the "post office price" is $0.84?

I'm trying to send a letter to my friend, and I used the postage calclator on the postcalc.usps.gov website.(I selected letter, weight: 1.05 ounces, envelope containing a ridgid object.) They told me I need to pay $0.84, however all I have are the forever stamps. Since they're worth $0.44 (I'm pretty sure) right now, putting two of them would be $0.88, right? So my questions are: 1. Would it send if I pay more than I need to? 2. Is it okay to use two forever stamps? Its the first time I'm sending a letter to someone, so I'm unsure.. Oh, and sorry if its the wrong category...

  1. Yeah, from my view, it seems fine.
  2. Yes, use two forever stamps, but you won't get any change back.
