I am constantly seeing business-delivery vans all over my local area........?

but when I search for "delivery driver" on careerbuilder, most of the jobs are for truck drivers..........not van drivers. Where are the van jobs? I see business vans all over town; They must exist.

Public Comments

  1. van drivers are considered truck drivers You still need a commercial drivers license to drive either one.
  2. Next time you see one, follow it or just pull up to them and ask.
  3. Maybe the stormtroopers are being delivered now that the FEMA camps are finished and ready to be filled up as debtor prisons. I was only kidding but scared myself with that thought.
  4. Contractors maybe in construction
  5. Many of those jobs will require a commercial driver's license (CDL) so they are advertised as "Truck Driving" positions. For smaller, local companies (such as bakeries, florists, etc.) the drivers are often junior or entry-level employees who are required to make deliveries in addition to other duties. Bakers' assistants and apprentice printers must often make deliveries while waiting to advance to greater responsibilities.
  6. Here are thousands & thousands of companies looking for van drivers; http://jobsearch.monster.com/search/Driver_5?q=Van
