USPS:How much does a business have to pay when someone mails back a business reply envelope?

How much does a no postage necessary if mailed in the United States cost a business? Most are first class mail but some are standard mail! How much do they both cost? Sometims I send some back and stuff papers in them! If alot of people did this alot,it would help the USPS with their budget problems! Could this really help the problem?

1. The envelopes cost the appropriate amount of First Class Postage, depending on weight. Same for any Business Reply material. It is the appropriate amount of postage based on weight, distance, shape or any other criteria applicable to the desired class of mail. There is also a handling fee for each item that also varies depending on the level of service that the recipient pays for and/or qualifies for.
2. It depends on the deal that the business cut with USPS. Large financial institutions only pay 2-3 cents per envelope.
