Can I send candles to brazil using the U.S Postal Service?

I'd like to send a yankee candle gift to my friend who just moved to brazil. I tried to look on the USPS website and couldnt find info about it. I checked here: http://pe.usps.com/text/imm/ab_028.htm. I'm considering calling my local post office about it tomorrow since business hours are close. Thanks for any help you can offer. I greatly appreciate it!

1. There is no prohibition or restriction mentioning candles. It would be fine to send what you want to. fir3bu1k should be along to remind everyone that the mailer is ultimately responsible for following the rules and regulations regardless of any statement made by any Postal Worker. Although that is true, there is no Postal Worker that will intentionally mislead any customer asking a question.
2. Better hurry, their winter is coming to an end and summer might melt the wax if it sits around long.
