Postal Letter

USPS tracking for ebay item says delivered, but I haven't received anything?

I bought an item on ebay about a week and a half ago and got a tracking number for the item. USPS's website says it was delivered last Friday but I haven't actually received anything yet. Am I able to get a refund/replacement? Is this covered under ebay's buyer protection policy? What should I do?

  1. That definitley means your item has been lost because it doesn't take that long to update.
  2. No, it's not under ebay's protection policy. Actually, you don't have a case because the seller can prove the item was delivered. Check with your neighbors and mailperson to see what happened to the package. Otherwise you are out of luck. Next time ask for and pay for insurance.
  3. Maybe you should go ask your neighbor if they received your flesh-light by accident.
  4. it's not covered under ebay's buyer protection because it was delivered to your location. Your package probably got picked up by your neighbors. All mail come at the same time everyday, so i usually try to pick it up right away or if it's important, I hold it at the post office and come pick up myself. Since they usually drop packages at the front door, It can get stolen by other people that happens to walk by your house. In this case, I would ask around and see if one of your neighbors know. If you still want the item, then I would contact the seller and explained that your package was stolen. Maybe the seller is nice enough to offer a little discount on the replacement but this is all up to that seller since he or she already did everything right with the first order by having a tracking ID.
