Can a hacker change the body of web-based emails?
Is it possible for someone to hack into your web-based free email account and change the body of an email you have received in your Inbox earlier? And no, I'm not looking for hacking tips. Lol.... It's just that I've felt recently that some of my old emails appear slightly different in their contents than what I seemed to remember when I read them for the first time a year ago.

- It's possible but rarely happens....what happens often is they spoof your e-mail address and use a number in front of or in back of your e-mail address so it appears that you sent it.....and the letter goes to all your contacts in the form of SPAM.
- No, even if a hacker has access to your online email account they cannot change the text of received emails. There is just no facility to do this. They would have to hack the servers of the company hosting your email which would be seriously unlikely to happen!
- it can be done, but what's the gain for a hack that difficult?
