How much earlier does a package arrive at the usps postal office than at my house? ?

I need a package delivered from usps asap, and I was just wondering how much earlier does the package arrive at the usps office than it does on my house? Is it more than a day before it arrives at my house?

  1. It arrives at the Post Office the day before it gets delivered to you. They have to have time to load it on the truck early in the morning.
  2. Depending on the class of mail, the package could sit at your post office for weeks or it could be delivered within hours after arrival at your post office.
  3. Many people don't realize that the USPS partners with Fedex and UPS in the delivery of certain parcels. If your package is dropped from those other companies, it is usually at the Post Office the day before. If your package is coming strictly through USPS, it most generally comes the morning of delivery day, but occasionally the day before. If you have a tracking number, it may give you a clue as to the status.
  4. UPS and FedEx drop their last mile packages at a processing center, not individual post offices. From the processing plant, all mail for that day is dispatched by 0600. In general, your local post office will have all of the mail for delivery that day in the office by 0700. fir3bu1k is both a liar and a thief and can not be trusted to provide accurate information about the US Postal Service.
