How much longer will the Post Office been around?

My family still has a post office box because we get a lot of magazines and the mail box at our apartments are small and all the magazines were getting ripped,torn,and bent bad.What happens to magazines subscriptions if the post office goes away?I also heard somewhere that magazine companies are losing money is that true?Yes I like to look at photos and reading on the internet but there's something about just having a magazine in your hand that I like better.

1. if you armed the postal workers, they would be the 4th largest army in the world. an army of men and women in wool pants going door to door stuffing boxes with junk mail has always seemed a little creepy to me. the post office may have been a vital service at one point in time, but that day has come and gone. they didnt evolve and natural selection is about to run its course. @theequalist: go figure, an obama supporter who wants the tax payer to support 750,000 government employees we could all live without.
2. Hopefully forever, although the Republicans are responsible for passing legislation to put the USPS in dire financial straits, and are hoping to drive a nail in the coffin.
