Postal Letter

The US Postal Service is raising their rates (again) on 5/12. Are there any cheaper competitors out there?

  1. no unfortunatley not but you can get the forever stamps which I do because they are raising there prices all the time which I think is ridiculous and with the forever stamps you can you use them forever even with the prices go up.
  2. I use e-mail a whole lot more than I used to. But for snail mail, generally the US post is the only show in town.
  3. There is no one else that will deliver your letter. UPS, DHL and Fed Ex will deliver your packages but they will still cost more than the USPS. USPS now has a program called Parcel Select, which is a way for other companies to have the USPS deliver their package. Of the 250 million packages sent by Parcel Select last year, 200 million of those came from UPS and Fed Ex. They are charging their customers and then bringing the mail to the USPS for delivery. So you can that if they are still making money doing this that the USPS is still the cheapest and most reliable shipper in the world.
