What is the postal code of zip code for Accra Ghana in West Africa?
Public Comments
- There probably is none; not all countries have postal codes. I lived in Cameroon (central Africa) for two years. Cameroon has not postal codes. In fact, the street I lived on had no name. I always get quite amused when I have to put my address from Cameroon on a form and in the "street" section I put, "[THE STREET HAD NO NAME]". I went to the U.S. State Department’s web-site and looked up the address for the embassy in Accra, and just as I suspected it has no postal code. This indicates that Ghana does not use postal codes.
- The previous poster is correct, we have no zip codes here. Largely, that is because there is no home delivery of letters or parcels; most people have post office boxes. An address would be something like this: P.O. Box 4573 AN Means post office box number Accra-North Means actual post office location Accra, Ghana City and Country Hope that helps.
