Postal Letter

What is the postal code of zip code for Accra Ghana in West Africa?

  1. There probably is none; not all countries have postal codes. I lived in Cameroon (central Africa) for two years. Cameroon has not postal codes. In fact, the street I lived on had no name. I always get quite amused when I have to put my address from Cameroon on a form and in the "street" section I put, "[THE STREET HAD NO NAME]". I went to the U.S. State Department’s web-site and looked up the address for the embassy in Accra, and just as I suspected it has no postal code. This indicates that Ghana does not use postal codes.
  2. The previous poster is correct, we have no zip codes here. Largely, that is because there is no home delivery of letters or parcels; most people have post office boxes. An address would be something like this: P.O. Box 4573 AN Means post office box number Accra-North Means actual post office location Accra, Ghana City and Country Hope that helps.
