how do i ship a USPS flat rate priority mail envelope?

I put my item in, i wrote the address, and i closed it. what do i do now? do i have to go to the post office to pay for it, and will they ship it? how much is it anyway?

1. Just bring the box to the post office, pay for it, they'll check if everything is correct and all forms filled out -- and yes they will ship it
2. yeah, that's the 'flat rate' part. you can check your container online and see which one it is. If you'd rather put that amount of postage on in stamps you can (but they're usually like $8.95 or something) and then you don't have to go to the post office.
