Federal Postal Positions jobs?
i see add for postal jobs(rural carriers,mail ,ect,,) everyday? i was curious .i contact them ,they give you a number to call, and i did ,they make purchased a book for $100 dollars..them i took the exman and i pass with 76.5..(been 70 the minimun)..i got the results 3 weeks later,..3 months pass and they havent call me..i talked to rural carrier and she TELL ME "that they always need help"..but when they call people, they call by this Order; 1.- millitar people veterans(highest score) 2.-millitar or veterans(less score) 3.-white people with highest score 4.-white people with lowest score. and them BLACKS and HISPANICS. No wonder i've never seem Blacks or Latinos working there..uh,uh,uh looks like they will call me in the year 2012, what a joke...

- Save your money and only apply at the USPS site. Never go through those private companies.
- Wow, where to start with this. If your carrier actually told you that, they are sorely mistaken. There are 2 levels of Veterans Preference in federal hiring. 10 point vets are considered first, 5 point vets considered next, then the rest of the successful test taking candidates. Unfortunately, your score of 76.5 is very, very low. It is common for people to pass this test with over 100 points. Myself, with my 10 point preferesnce had a score of 107%. Sure, it only takes 70% to get in the door, but many internal qualification tests have a passing score of 95%, or 98%. I am afraid that your 76.5% as well as your broken writing style seems to indicate that it will be unlikely that you will ever be called for a job, not even by 2012. Perhaps you should think about this. How does anyone know if you are Black or Hispanic. When hiring, the committee only sees a list of names and scores. They just work down the list. Also, your score is only good for 2 years. You will be snet a notice that you must respond to if you wish to keep your name on the list. You would be much better off retaking the test to try to raise your score. Last time the test was given in this area, over 3,000 people took the test. Almost 2,000 failed. 28 had a score of 100% or better.
- Actually I am a Hispanic Female and got hires 2 weeks after taking the test.... hum They actualy INTERVIEW starting at the highest score and usually that is military because of the extra 10 points can put them above 100. Then they HIRE based on need. There were 6 interviewers when I had my group interview. 2 were black 1 was asian and 3 where white. Not sure where you got your info.
