does postal jobs require a high school dimpola like a job in the mailroom?

- diploma...and yes it does....along with passing a civil service exam.
- Yes...not only that, but also... civil service exam...and There's been a hiring freeze for many years with USPS for all full-time positions, unless you have Veteran's preference (translation, you served in the military).
- .....diploma, yes..........dimpola, I don't think so.
- I would say...... Yes.!! Duhhh !
- Like others said, unless you are a minority and/or have a military background, you are wasting time trying to hire in there. One exception: the US Postal Service is VERY nepotistic in it's hiring practices, even though they say they aren't. If you have a relative who works there, you are as good as in, at least temporarily. That's how I got in. I must state, however, that I ended up quitting due to the fact that, again, you will not advance if you weren't in the military.
- yes, you do have to have your high school diploma and then you have to pass some tests ,depending on which jobs they are taking applications for : clerk, mailman , window ,sorting mail etc. and you have to be an American citizen ......
