Postal service jobs?
How hard is it to get a job with the postal service (USPS or UPS). And how do you go about applying for one of these jobs. I'm moving to a completely different area and i want to look into a postal service job near seattle.

- go on line to us postal service then click on your state but what ever you do don't go to one of those agency's where you have to pay a fee. it's a scam
- Im not sure about the process in Seattle, but in masachusetts if you want to work for ups you can apply online and get an automatic interview. UPS is always hiring, the only thing is they don't pay well for loaders and sorters. If you wanted to be a driver or supervisor the pay is pretty good. USPS usually has annoucments in the papers where you can call a number to apply and they'll mail you the package in the mail, they pay very well here in mass.
- I went to the U.S. Postal Service website at http://www.usps.com and clicked on "jobs" at the bottom. This took me to this page: http://www.usps.com/employment/welcome.htm?from=home&page=employment This page has all the info on how to apply for a job, whether it's corporate or mail-sorting. For some jobs, you will need to take an exam.
