Des helped me - a college student visiting from the states - when I was lost in the city. His simple act of kindness changed my life...long story. I would love to find him and thank him! I'm guessing he was in his 30's in 1993, slim build, brown hair. He was wearing a postal uniform. I wish I could tell you more...

  2. I wish you could tell us more... lol It's hard when you only have a 1st name to go by. I could track him down with a full name.
  3. Try contacting the post office, see if they can contact him from their records. They will be able to give him your contact information, and hopefully he will get in touch with you. Hope it works out.

I totally feel your pain - i still get misty eyed when i think about the policeman who helped me when i was lost - i was 6 years old and my mother has on the other side of the shop - i felt like my world had stopped...but he stepped over and guided me back into her loving arms.......It was a life changing moment.....I have always felt very emotional when i see a very tall well built policeman ..... I still go back to the same shop each year on the anniversary - it sounds silly but it does make me feel somewhat closer to him - does that make me wierd?..... goodluck in your search.
