  3. True. They do have uniformed officers, not to be confused with US Postal Inspections Service Special Agents. So do other federal agencies like the FBI, USSS, CIA, etc.
  4. False, they have plain clothed officers called "Postal Inspectors"..
  5. They have US Postal Inspectors, in fact they were the ones that chased Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid all over hell and gone...
  6. Here is the correct answer. True. The US Postal Service has a uniformed service. They are called...the Postal Police. Usually you will find them in the lobbies of large post offices in major cities such as New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles. They also patrol in some smaller cities in large metropolitan areas, usually near some postal stations at closing time. They also may check othet post offices during nightfall to just check on things. Once in a while they may show up at one of these offices during business hours and walk through the workroom floor just to give a presence. They also provide security at large postal installations that employ hundreds if not thousands of employees. They are not to be confused with the US Postal Inspection Service. They are more like the FBI of the postal service, investigating fraud, major thefts, identity thefts. etc. Great question.
