How much do postal stamps cost?

I heard the cost was supposed to increase, but i don't know if it already did. Within the same state (in this case, Rhode Island)

8. It's 39 cents as others have mentioned, but I believe that for overseas mail including canada and mexico, that more postage is needed on a letter or package. I didn't realize, however, the postage was supposed to go up next month. Ahh! :)

10. About 30 cents more than the lousy service is worth! Electronic transfers and emails--only way to go!
