How many postal stamps do you need if.....?

How many stamps do you need if you were to mail something from Pennsylvania to California?......I think it's one but I just want to make sure. it's just a normal letter, nothing added to it. i have one 39 cent stamp on it now.

1. I guess one. What are you going to do with the other postal stamps? I don't think you can put more than 1 postal stamp on a letter.
2. thats really gonna depend on the size of the letter, the weight of the envelope, thickness, and whether or not its leaking from the ear you are sending to that hollywood starlet.
3. 72(stamps) if its a box 200(stamps)if its same day delivery
4. It should only take one stamp unless of course the letter or whatever is beyond standard size for a 41 cent stamp. But just to make sure put two 41 cent stamps on it. Yes, you can put however many stamps you want on a envelope.

6. i get mail from my girlfriend in Michigan & it costs her 84c to mail a letter to Ireland.
7. If it is just a regular letter, not over sized or heavier than regular first class then regular postage which has gone up to 41 cents.
