Where are all the US Postal Stamps printed?
Public Comments
- well you can print them online these days. I would assume somewhere in DC. But could be wrong. Found it the Bureau of Engraving and Printing officially took over production of postage stamps in July 1894. I found a cool link below outlining the postage rates since 1863.
- They are printed on the front. The adhesive is on the back. :-)
- all postal printed by press,ie secreat you know
- The ones that are printed by the government are printed at the US Treasury - stamps are legal tender, which means under extreme circumstances can be used instead of money. There are currently programs which allow you to print your own stamps at home, but again, because they are legal tender, you have to pay for however many you are going to print up.
