How do I use USPS Certified Mail with my flat rate envelope?

sounds like a dumb question, but i have a flat rate envelope and how do i get this with my mailing: Priority Mail® Flat-Rate Envelope $4.80 Certified Mail2.70 Return Receipt2.20 Total$9.70

1. You can apply a postage meter strip or stamps to pay for the additional USPS postage. This would incoude the Certified Mail fee of $2.70 PLUS add the Green Card Return Receipt fee $2.20 for a total of $4.90. You will need to attach the Certified Mail Forms PS-Form 3800 to the flat rate envelope with your postage. Next time I would suggest using those USPS approved Certified Mail Envelopes with Electronic Return Receipt and Tracking - its fast, easy and can save you money.
