Postal Letter

Send resume via US Postal Svcs. or call the company???

I want to send my resume via US Postal services, however I don't know if I should call the company before to check for job availability or to call just to get permission to send a resume. If I should call, what do I say to sound professional????? Help

1. I am in HR and I am sure they would prefer you to email them a cover letter and Resume. Saves time for everyone.
2. I agree with Ben most companies like for you to email resumes and cover letters . It makes it simple and it is quicker. They will contact you if they are interested in you.
