Postal Letter

I may work for the United States Postal Service.?

I am thinking about working for the US POSTAL service. I called the toll free number. They advised me that there are positions available. However, I am apprehensive because they asked me for $100 deposit to sign up for a test, and than they will arrange for an interview. The starting wage is $20 per hour, and I consider that a good living because I'm in an unstable sales job.

  1. what was the question.
  2. I don't know who you called but it was a scam. There is no fee to take any test for employment with the postal service. There are study guides with practice tests you can get for FREE at the library. Check the usps website for employment information. There are many, many people who want to work for the postal service and the only way to get hired is to score high on the test. In a lot of areas, the only people who are being tested are recently discharged vets.
  3. You did not call the US Postal Service. You called a company that charges a fee to 'help' you take the test. These companies are useless. go to http://www.usps.com That is the official US Postal Service website. That is where you will get the real info.
