i am trying to trace a parcel?

i brought a doll over the internet, and they posted it on the 12th december using the us postal service, they gave me a tracking number and i was able to see where it was on its journey ,but once it got to britain on the 21st december, us post say they tried to deliver the parcel at 6.15am on the 21st but could not get anyone to hear ,however they never put a note through my door to say where the package will be, and i had been up since 5.oclockam waiting for the parcel ,i have phoned them 6 times only to get put off from one place to the other i live in willenhall west mids does anyone know how i can trace my package i

1. USPS is slow give it a month (at least).
2. if they tried to deliver it and no one was home, they would have left a note...but if no answer at your door, they should at least still have it at your post office.
