mail #$%^&*()_!@#$%?

I can't, for the life of me figure out how to set up my mail account. I've had the same Yahoo account for over a year. I got a new hard-drive and well, you know the story. SO, can write mail, read my mail, but when I go to send mail or press the mail icon, my other account( hotmail ) comes up. I don't even use that account. When I go to internet ops., in programs, The only mail I can choose from is outlook ex. & windows live mail. I've done the pop thing and smtp for sending and thats fine but I try to do the pop for sending mail and they say unable to find server pop, pop3, popper, poppy, popped #$%^&*( . Help, please, someone?! Thank You

1. what I understand is that you have Yahoo configured in Outlook! Well u need to check your Outlook Configuration! A simple way out would be ... Go to http://mail.yahoo.com/ and sign in! Still if you want to access it thru MS Outlook then Go to Tools--> Email Accounts-->Change /View Existing Accounts and Select the Email Account which is labeled Yahoo then check ur user name password and save it !
