How do I mail chocolate to another state?

I'm planning to mail a bar of chocolate and some chocolate covered pretzels to someone in the North. What should I do to keep it from melting when it's in the mail?

  1. 1. put in the fridge 2 days prior to mailing it 2. when you take it out wrap it in tons of foil 3. line the box/bag with enough bubble wrap that the two things are very tightly squeezed in (the smaller you have the box/bag, the less chance it will melt) This should keep it from melting! Good Luck!!!
  2. You can freeze them and pack them in styrofoam. Chocolate melts at body temprature. The time it takes for chocolate to be exposed to temps higher than that usually will not be enough to ruin the bars.
  3. I would try packaging it wrapped in ice. It should be fine - once it reaches the icy North, it will be frozen anyway and, like any other food, will need to be thawed over a communal bonfire.
  4. Put it in the frezer for a day and wrap it with alot of foil paper also put something around the foil paper to comfort it. Then the box.
  5. wait until january then mail the chocolate
  6. Try some dry ice.
  7. I think you can just buy chocolate online, then let the store deliver the chocolate for you easily, here is the chocolate for you to choose. http://cleverbuylady.com/Store-Directory/Store/Gifts/Chocolate.html
