How can I get mail delivery in the USVI without being a resident?
I want to have mail sent to me in the US Virgin Islands. I'm taking my boat down and want to have my mail forwarded. The post office there won't let me rent a mailbox because they say you have to be a resident to rent a mailbox.

- Have your mail sent to the post office with your name and the added words in French "Poste Restrante" which simply means (post restrained by the post office until you pick it up (the post office will only hold mail for 5 days.)This French quote on mail has been used all over the world.
- Try to see where are U going to Temporarily Reside. I think that Using residencial address will work fine. If U are going to rent a Condo, Apartment, Family house, Guest House, then you can have the mail reach there to your door. In the island of St. Croix, we have a place in the shopping center named "Mail Boxes"; you can have your mail reach there. I don't have much info. on the fees there. But You can pick up your mail there. I can't say much on St. Thomas or St. John. I am a St. Croix resident. OR, if you are planning to be in St. Thomas or St.John, you can take the ferry ($66) every weekend(Saturday) to St. Croix and pick your stuff at "Mail Boxes". Their phone No. is 1-340-719-5131. Located at 4093 Diamond Ruby Ste.7, St. Croix, USVI 00820
